Pier Park

Pier Park, Panama City Beach

Designed as a family entertainment, shopping and lifestyle hub for the beach, Pier Park features nearly 1,000,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Russell-Fields Pier

Across Front Beach Road from the entrance to Pier Park is the Russell-Fields Pier, Panama City Beach's public fishing pier and -- at 1,500 feet long -- the longest pier on the Gulf Coast. Opened in 2009, Russell-Fields replaced the Dan Russell Pier, which was named for the city's first mayor. The "Fields" in the new pier's name honors the memory of Elgin Fields Jr., who was the pier supervisor for many years and a well-known local fixture. He passed away in 2001.
